Carlos Rosende joined Anderson & Kreiger in 2023 after graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. Carlos works with public and private sector clients on a range of issues related to land use and zoning, municipal law, airport law, and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting under the Clean Water Act. Carlos has also provided pro bono assistance in immigration law matters through Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).
During law school, Carlos interned with the Massachusetts Senate, Office of Senate Counsel, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. Carlos also conducted research on space law and policy for a Washington-based think tank. Prior to law school, Carlos served in the United States Navy for more than nine years as a Surface Warfare Officer, including four years aboard the USS Stethem (DDG-63) as a division officer and three years as an intelligence analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence. Carlos has published articles on legal history, naval history, and naval policy in magazines and academic journals.
Carlos lives in Worcester, MA with his wife, two young kids and dog. When he is not working, he enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and spending time with his family. He also is an Eagle Scout.
