Anderson & Kreiger is proud to announce that Associate Paul M. Kominers was awarded the 2024 Access to Justice Award as a Rising Star by the Massachusetts Bar Association. The Access to Justice Award: Rising Star was given to two attorneys who are “employed by a legal services organization, a public defender organization, or a state or federal prosecutor’s office, or an attorney who has engaged in significant pro bono activities, who has been a practicing attorney for seven years or less, who has distinguished themself by a particular accomplishment or body of work that has made a significant and meaningful contribution to access to justice to an underserved population within Massachusetts.”
Over the last three years, Paul has invested more than 500 pro bono hours working to help individuals with criminal convictions seal and expunge their records. He has also worked on cases advocating for structural improvements to the state’s criminal records law. A&K congratulates Paul on this well-deserved honor!
