Anderson & Kreiger Welcomes New Associates Liliana Bechtold and Mackay Peltzer

Anderson & Kreiger LLP is pleased to announce that Liliana Bechtold and Mackay Peltzer have joined the firm as associates, adding to the firm’s growing team and strengthening its capabilities across several key practice areas. Both Liliana and Mackay previously worked at Anderson & Kreiger as summer associates.

Liliana joins Anderson & Kreiger with a strong foundation in housing, land use, real estate and public-interest law. She earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholar and served as an editor of the Public Interest Law Journal. Her legal experience includes work with Greater Boston Legal Services and the Cambridge Housing Authority, where she gained experience in housing litigation, regulatory compliance and matters involving affordable and public housing. Before law school, Liliana studied public policy and urban studies at the University of Toronto, with a particular focus on housing, zoning, community land trusts and urban development.

Mackay joins the firm after earning her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she focused on environmental law and served as Chief Comments Editor of the Journal of Environmental Law & Policy. During law school, she worked with the Natural Resources Section of the California Attorney General’s Office and volunteered with the Bruin Food Access Project, helping UCLA community members navigate California’s food assistance program. Before law school, Mackay spent four years with Notch Partners, advising on research and executive relationships related to private equity investments and acquisitions across industries including energy, chemicals, manufacturing and infrastructure.
