Congratulations to Anderson & Kreiger LLP’s Jon Elder, partner in the firm’s Construction and Litigation practice groups, on being named a 2025 “Go to Construction Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Every two years, the MLW “Go to Lawyer” designation honors top attorneys across the state who are regarded as experts in their field with notable records of success.

He has deep expertise in public contracting and regularly assists cities and towns, school districts, airports and other state authorities in everything from structuring procurements and soliciting bids to negotiating contracts and resolving disputes.

Jon has drafted and negotiated hundreds of construction contracts and regularly represents clients in court and arbitration, where he has successfully defended or recovered damages for claims involving project delay, design and construction defects, and scope and payment disputes, among others.

Jon is a Director of the Massachusetts chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, member of American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law, and past co-chair of the Boston Bar Association Construction Law Subcommittee.  He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for Construction Law and Construction Litigation since 2023.
