Carmen M. Ortiz on Leadership Panel for the Mass Bar Leadership Academy

Carmen M. Ortiz was featured alongside Angela Onwuachi-Willig, Dean of Boston University School of Law and Ivan Espinoza-Madrigal, Executive Director of Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) as a panelist for the Mass Bar Leadership Academy Profiles Program on Monday January 13, 2020.  To a room full of future attorney leaders, the panelists discussed their career paths and qualities that they believe have helped them advance into key management positions.  The Mass Bar Leadership Academy was developed for attorneys who have been practicing between three and 10 years to teach future leaders practical skills, such as public speaking, media relations, how to motivate other people and how to run a meeting. The Leadership Academy has panels that focus on elements regarding the philosophy of leadership, such as how to be a thoughtful leader who listens well and builds bridges and coalitions.
