Anderson & Kreiger is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Van Dyke as its new managing partner, effective January 1, 2021. He succeeds David Mackey, who has served as managing partner for the past 5 years.
Commenting on his new appointment, Colin said: “I am fortunate to work with a group of talented lawyers and wonderful colleagues. We share a vision for how to work with our clients and one another. I am humbled by their confidence in me and I am focused on the continued success of our firm.”
As managing partner, Colin intends to strengthen Anderson & Kreiger’s relationships with its regional and national clients, to promote the professional growth of its attorneys and staff, and to continue the firm’s commitment to the communities in which it works.
Colin holds various leadership positions, including on the Boards of Directors for Lawyers for Civil Rights and Zoo New England. He is Management Committee Chair for the Massachusetts Bays National Estuary Partnership. He also is a member of the governing council for the ABA’s Section of Environmental, Energy and Resources and he has served in a variety of roles for the Boston Bar Association.
Colin’s practice focuses on environmental matters locally and nationally, including site redevelopment and remediation, permitting and enforcement, and litigation. In addition, Colin regularly provides pro bono services in environmental and civil rights cases. He has been recognized by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and Massachusetts Super Lawyers.
The firm also thanks David Mackey for his tenure as managing partner: “Dave’s clients have long valued his strategic vision and leadership. Dave’s tenure as managing partner has been marked by the same attributes and he has put us in the enviable position of servicing great clients, experiencing sustained growth, and attracting top-notch lateral attorneys and law students to our firm,” said Colin.
