Five Anderson & Kreiger Attorneys to Present at the 2019 Massachusetts Airport Managers Association Annual Conference

On October 8, 2019, Dave Mackey, Mina S. Makarious, Melissa Allison, Jennifer Platt and Christina Marshall all will present at the 2019 Massachusetts Airport Managers Association (“MAMA”) Annual Conference in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Mina and Christina will cover topics regarding the realities of doing business as a public entity.  The topics will include Open Meeting Law, Public Records Act and Conflict of Interest compliance.

Jennifer will present about the real estate basics for municipal airports, including issues to consider when leasing non-aeronautical land and undertaking procurements under M.G.L. c. 30B.

Melissa will present a case study of a recent non-aeronautical lease at Barnstable Municipal Airport.

Dave will moderate the panel, and discuss generally the legalities and practicalities involved in generating revenue from businesses on the airport.
