  • Acquisitions: Stephanie represents national and regional developers, public and quasi-public agencies, utility companies and institutional owners in all matters related to acquisitions. She represented a national real estate investment trust (REIT) in the acquisition of a number of portfolio properties, including a group of three research and development and biotechnology office buildings in Cambridge, Massachusetts, office, laboratory and manufacturing space in North Carolina and a large multi-tenant life sciences campus in New York.
  • Complex Dispositions: Stephanie represented National Grid in the sale of its 68-acre corporate headquarters in Westborough, Massachusetts coupled with a leaseback of a portion of same.
  • Leasing: Stephanie regularly represents landlords and tenants in office, life sciences, laboratory, and industrial leasing as well as complicated ground leases. She has strong experience in all aspects of leasing, including negotiating letters of intent, dealing with construction and tenant improvement issues, expansion amendments, early terminations and lease disputes.
  • Development of Property: Stephanie is experienced in all aspects of development, including due diligence, permitting and zoning. She represented a private elementary and secondary school with respect to real estate planning matters and the acquisition of permits for campus consolidation efforts.
  • Municipal Real Estate: Stephanie has particular expertise in municipal real estate and regularly guides her municipal clients through complex real estate matters, including acquisitions, leasing, sales, conservation and historic restrictions, eminent domain takings, and easements.

Stephanie began her career at a large international law firm as a commercial real estate associate.

BEYOND THE OFFICE

Stephanie lives in Reading with her husband and two young children. When she can squeeze in time between work and orchestrating the lives of her kids, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, volunteering in her community, or striving to improve her golf game.
