A&K is proud to announce that partner Carmen M. Ortiz is being recognized and honored at the ALX100 Awards by Amplify LatinX. Amplify will host its inaugural ALX100 award reception at the Boston Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 14 where they will recognize 100 exceptional Latinx leaders across Massachusetts who have demonstrated outstanding excellence and made significant contributions in their respective fields and communities.
Amplify LatinX is a 501c3 nonprofit, non-partisan collaborative convener that is advancing a new era of Latinx prosperity by expanding Latinx leadership across sectors, galvanizing legislative and public support, and championing continual economic mobility.
Amplify will also unveil the historic ALX100 exhibition, a first-of-its-kind traveling installation that will showcase the ALX100 honorees and Amplify LatinX collaborators. The exhibition will be publicly unveiled at the MFA Boston’s Latinx Heritage Night celebration on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, and will later travel across Massachusetts until 2024.
Amplify describes their awardees (Amplifiers) as leaders, risk-takers, quiet disruptors, and outspoken advocates from all industry sectors, who inspire to uplift their Latinx community. Their stories encompass a highly diverse group of incredible people with distinct histories, professions, cultures, languages, traditions, and identities.
This annual campaign takes place during Hispanic Heritage Month and Anderson & Kreiger is happy to honor both Carmen and the rest of the Amplifiers recognized this year.
