Anderson & Kreiger is pleased to announce that Carlos Rosende returned to the firm as an Associate in August 2023. He was previously a Summer Associate in 2022.
Carlos rejoins A&K after graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with merit in history from the United States Naval Academy. While at Harvard, he published an article comparing law school institutional missions and histories in the St. Mary’s Law Journal. He has also published several articles on naval history and policy in multiple professional journals and magazines.
Carlos served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy from 2012 to 2022. His assignments included two tours as a division officer aboard a Japan-based destroyer and three years as an analyst in the Submarine Warfare Operations Research Division at the Office of Naval Intelligence.
In addition to his experience in the Navy, Carlos has also interned at the Massachusetts Senate, Office of Senate Counsel, the U.S Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, and was a legal associate at Freedom Technologies, Inc. In all these positions, he played a direct role in researching and analyzing legal topics and policies in areas including space, federal criminal law and more.
