Overview

Project developers, commercial landlords, tenants, and municipalities all turn to Dana for her experience in real estate law.  Her areas of focus include:

  • Condominiums: Dana represents the developer of a multi-building, mixed-use condominium project in Boston, and has conducted more than 300 unit closings, many of which took place during COVID-19. Dana was able to quickly pivot during the pandemic to continue the closings remotely to keep the project moving forward.
  • Leasing: Dana has particular experience in drafting and negotiating lease agreements, representing both landlords and tenants in residential, commercial, and office leasing.
  • Construction Contracts: Dana drafts, reviews, and negotiates construction contracts for a variety of both public and private sector clients.

Dana enjoys transactional work because each transaction requires unique and specialized attention to accomplish a client’s goal. In particular, Dana understands that a successful transaction demands that each party’s needs be met without sacrificing the needs of the firm’s client. Dana appreciates the special opportunities for creative thought and solutions this process presents.

Before starting law school, Dana worked in Prague, Czech Republic for four years, including as the international sales manager for an international real estate investment firm, and as an English teacher.

BEYOND THE OFFICE

Dana grew up playing golf with her father, served as the captain of her high school golf team, and continues to play the occasional round. She enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities, as well as taking on new cuisines in cooking classes. Having lived and worked in Prague, Dana also has a passion for traveling and experiencing new cultures.
