Spanning over two decades, David’s practice includes all areas of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, condominium development, joint ventures, and financing. David is a respected leader in the real estate industry. Clients often call him to work on complex and high-profile projects in Boston, the New England region, and nationally. His clients include developers, institutional landlords, life sciences and high-tech companies, utility companies, educational institutions, and government agencies.

His areas of emphasis include:

  • Leasing: Advising landlords and tenants in commercial lease transactions, with expertise in life sciences leasing, ground lease development projects, build-to-suit leases, and lease enforcement matters.
  • Acquisitions/Dispositions: Representing institutional owners and investors, as well as governmental agencies, in acquisitions and dispositions, including particularly hard to develop parcels with historic preservation, hazardous waste, and other challenging issues.
  • Condominiums: Serving as condominium counsel on some of Boston’s most complex and largest condominium projects, involving a mix of uses, including residential, hotel, office, and retail uses.
  • Development: Representing developers before zoning boards of appeal and other permit granting authorities, including the Boston Planning & Development Agency, on a range of projects, including hotel refurbishment projects, utility facilities, and residential and commercial developments.

David lives in Concord, Massachusetts with his wife and two children and dog.
